Louis Petrosino's New Book "Life Goes On" Is An Intense Story That Unfolds A Series Of Misfortunes, Periods Of Humor, And Moments Of Tender Consideration

Recent release "Life Goes On" from Page Publishing author Louis Petrosino is both entertaining and eerie; this work haunts the reader through the twists and turns of a ghostly adventure.

Louis Petrosino, a restorer of classic vehicles, appreciator of historic artifacts, American story-teller, fisherman, hunter, writer, and author, has completed his new book “Life Goes On”: a suspenseful, horror story that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Louis Petrosino’s ghostly tale delves into raw emotions, haunted spirits, and the fear of the unknown.

Henry and Carol Dunaven, a youngish couple, purchase the former Gladys Chetman house and apple orchard, a real estate acquisition with a hidden past. Somewhere on the estate, something or someone is buried. It is this hundred-year-old secret which draws the purchasers into a series of eerie encounters. At times, a young female spirit haunts the house and occasionally wields her control over Carol. In addition, the ghosts of the Civil War dead are brought to life during each violent storm to perform their endless combative roles. Too often, Henry is a witness to the unnerving carnage. As a spectator to this ghoulish imagery, he brings his own sanity into question.

Even more strange are the local people. They remain cold, distant, and at times hostile. Many residents advise departure, while some enact their own brand of violence and destruction. The turbulence erupts because two relatives of Gladys Chetman don't want anyone living on the property, especially in such close proximity to the rather old but devastating secret held somewhere within.

The Dunaven couple meets every adversity bravely. Besides, with the help of two honest hired hands, the brunt of the work is equally distributed. Unfortunately, over time their ordeal becomes unbearable. The townsfolk won't cooperate much, if at all in most instances, and neither will any law enforcement agency. Too many people fear the wealthy Chetman brothers and their ruffians. Therein, Henry Dunaven launches his own crusade to drag this tormenting dilemma into the open. Eventually, he discovers all of the facts regarding the century-old mystery.

All events which subsequently lead Henry and Carol to their chosen horizon.

Readers who wish to experience this haunting work can purchase “Life Goes On” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
